ELP Suriname is a family-owned business established more than forty years ago. The company was founded by mr. Ronald Liauw Anjie under the name Elektro, Liftinstallatie en Adviesburo Liauw. At that time the activities were electrical installations, elevator and escalator installations and maintenance and also giving technical advise on several aspects.

In the year 2000 the eldest son joined the company and soon after another son also joined. As any good company it underwent several structural, administrative and management changes and is now known as ELP Suriname.

Over the years the company has matured gradually and is continuously undergoing changes to better manage operations and also to better serve our clients and their requests. One of the many changes will soon be the ISO 9001:2008 certification of the company in 2010.
